Cheryl left 'embarrassed' as Liam Payne re-lives their 'cringe' first meeting on The X Factor

Cheryl has reportedly been left unimpressed with her ex Liam Payne, after he opened up about their first encounter. Fight For This Love singer Cheryl, 36, and her former One Direction ex Liam first crossed paths when Liam auditioned for The X Factor in 2008 and Cheryl was a judge on the panel when he was just 14.

Liam, 26, didn't make it past judging houses in that series but re-auditioned in 2010 and later went on to enjoy worldwide success after he was placed in group One Direction, formed by the judges from a selection of solo The X Factor hopefuls.The couple began dating in 2016 and later went on to welcome son Bear together, who recently celebrated his third birthday without his dad because of the coronavirus.
