Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has revealed his thoughts on Arsenal stripping Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang of his captaincy by admitting he “feels sorry” for the striker.Aubameyang, 32, was named Arsenal captain back in November 2019 but was stripped of the honour this week following a breach of club discipline.Gunners boss Mikel Arteta announced that he informed the Gabonese star face-to-face of the decision in what was an “unpleasant situation”.Arteta has not shied away from fall outs with players during his tenure as manager and the forward becomes the latest to be disciplined, having been dropped for last weekend’s 3-0 win over Southampton.And now Tuchel, who was Aubameyang’s manager at Borussia Dortmund between 2015 and 2017, has spoken.
