Good Morning Britain presenter Charlotte Hawkins had to be replaced by Laura Tobin after she suffered a series of technical blunders on Tuesday's show.
Charlotte was presenting the first half an hour of GMB when her sound cut out, meaning viewers couldn't hear her report on the pandemic and how it has impacted women worse than men.Things got worse when Charlotte's muffled microphone failed to picked up on her segment on snow around the UK, leading Laura to step in.Laura rushed to help Charlotte as she spoke over the noise and began interviewing Juliet Dunlop and Nick Dixon who were based in different places in the UK to report on the show.Afterwards, Charlotte apologised to viewers at home and thanked Laura for "stepping in".She said:.
