A leading charity has criticised the latest guidance regarding vulnerable people and said the Government ‘needs to do better’ to protect those shielding.
From today, those shielding are now allowed to venture outdoors once a day, either with members of their household or one person from another household.
The Government announced the updated guidance during a press conference over the weekend, but Blood Cancer UK said the guidance was created ‘with no warning or consultation with charities and clinicians’.
