Chanelle Hayes has said that her gastric sleeve operation was a "last resort" and that she will receive ongoing therapy for five years as part of the procedure.

The former Big Brother star, 33, has dropped from a size 18 to a size 8 and lost more then 7.5 stone after having the operation in August 2020.

Appearing on Wednesday's episode of Loose Women, Chanelle candidly discussed her decision to have a gastric sleeve fitted and was also hilariously interrupted by her adorable three-year-old son Frankie during the interview.

The former reality star revealed that before her operation she weighed 17st4lbs and that she has since slimmed down to nine-and-a-half stone.
