Challenge Anneka returning to screens after 30 years in Channel 5 reboot

Anneka Rice will once again be donning her famous jumpsuit as she prepares for a reboot of her iconic 90’s series Challenge Anneka.

After almost 30 years, the hit show looks set to return to TV screens as Channel 5 has picked up the rights to the popular series which saw Anneka race against the clock to complete a number of unexpected tasks.

Accompanied by her trusty sidekick “Soundman Dave”, Anneka, 63, will be supported by a team of volunteers as they try to improve the lives of everyday heroes and the communities they serve.

In previous years, the star had been challenged to things such as connecting a rubbish tip into a children’s playground - with the latest reboot promising a similar degree of challenges for the presenter to get her teeth stuck into.
