CELEBRITY Masterchef were left fuming at tonight's "insensitive" Jubilee themed episode and have demanded an apology. The BBC cooking competition was back on our screens with a double bill, airing at 8.30pm to 10pm.

The famous faces returned for the semi-finals and were tasked with cooking a special dish to celebrate The Queen's Platinum Jubilee.

Love Island's Faye Winter, former footie pro Jimmy Bullard, McFly's Danny Jones, model and presenter Lisa Snowden, Drag Race star Kitty Scott-Claus, Singer Mel Blatt and actor Cliff Parisi returned to the kitchen tonight as they battled it out.

Judge Greg Wallace told the contestants that they would be cooking a special dish to celebrate The Queen. He said: "This year saw the Royal Jubilee of her Majesty the Queen, what we would like is a dish dedicated to the Jubilee, dedicated to the Queen."
