Britney has been under a conservatorship – a legal process where her business and financial affairs are controlled by someone else as she has been deemed by a court to lack the competence to be in control of her own life – since 2008.
The 39-year-old pop singer has had her affairs managed and controlled by her father, Jamie Spears, 68, for the past 13 years – as well as longtime care manager, Jodi Montgomery, who was appointed co-conservator in 2019.
