Cardi B apologises for Hindu inspired shoot after being accused of cultural appropriation

mirror.co.ukCardi B has apologised after she was slammed for taking part in a "culturally inappropriate" photoshoot. The Bodak Yellow singer, 28, enraged fans when she took part in a shoot with sports brand Reebok where she appeared to imitate Hindu goddess Durga.
The snap from the cover of Footwear News show American rapper Cardi with several arms which shared a likeness to Durga - who is traditionally depicted as having numerous arms.
And after she was called out for participating in the images she took to Twitter on Tuesday to say sorry. Cardi also admitted that she thought the shoot was "dope" before understanding that it was disrespectful.
