But the good weather has also seen an increase in littering and fly-tipping. In a bid to tackle the increase in litter, more than 50 volunteers from the World Mission Society Church of God and their young adult workers volunteer group (ASEZ WAO) joined forces at the weekend to clean up the streets around Old Trafford.
On Sunday (April 18), the volunteers took part in a collective litter-picking session along Wright Street, Hadfield Street and Chester Road in Stretford.
