Brits travelling to the Canary Islands for a holiday face being sent straight back home if they test positive for coronavirus on arrival.
Tourism chiefs in the Canary Islands say all holidaymakers must take a coronavirus test 72 hours before travelling or on arrival.
In the event of a positive reading, they would either be sent straight back home again or put into quarantine. Spanish regions are currently clashing over their views on health requirements once the country officially "reopens for business" in the words of Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez on July 1st.
