But there are still a number of rules in place around overnight stays that people need to be aware of. As of April 12, the rules state you can stay overnight in a campsite, caravan, boat, second home, or other self-contained accommodation like holiday cottages.

You must only stay over with members of your own household or support bubble, unless a legal exemption applies. Self-contained holiday accommodation has been allowed to reopen in England and Wales, and the rules around travel mean people no longer have to stay local.
