Boris Johnson to explain himself over his relationship with businesswoman Jennifer Arcuri, who was awarded £126,000 of taxpayer cash, after her bombshell revelations of their four-year affair.
The Prime Minister had a relationship with Arcuri between 2012 and 2016 when he was Mayor of London and she was allowed on three taxpayer-funded trade missions he led.The revelations, revealed by out sister title The Sunday Mirror, raise significant questions over public cash and whether the PM breached the code of conduct.
Speaking exclusively to the Sunday Mirror, Ms Arcuri said she didn’t fully understand the rules around the trips and she now believes Boris should have declared the friendship.
