'Bunny-hugger' Greta Thunberg leads world in trolling Boris Johnson’s bizarre green speech

Climate activist Greta Thunberg led widespread mockery of Boris Johnson after the Prime Minister insisted the climate fight was not just "bunny hugging".

The teenage environmentalist poked fun at the Prime Minister by changing her Twitter bio to "bunny hugger" in a nod to his rambling speech to world leaders on Thursday.

Mr Johnson told a virtual summit, organised by US President Joe Biden, that climate action was not an "expensive, politically correct, green act of bunny hugging" but could deliver green jobs and growth.

He said the world could build back greener from the pandemic, adding: "Cake: have, eat - is my message to you." Following his speech, Ms Thunberg changed her Twitter description to "bunny hugger".
