Thomas Partey has urged Bukayo Saka to stay at Arsenal and fulfil his dreams.Saka gave a man of the match display in Sunday's 3-2 win at Watford to put the Gunners one step closer to a top-four finish. And with Arsenal set to offer the 20-year-old a new contract this summer, midfielder Partey insists it's vital he sticks around.Partey said: "We all know what he is doing.
He is one of the best young players in the world now."I think he is doing a great job. I hope he stays with us for a long time and does what he can, and tries to take this team far."Saka has bounced back from the misery of missing a penalty in England's Euro final heartbreak last summer with nine goals and five assists in all competitions this season. And of players under 21 in Europe's top five leagues, only Bayer Leverkusen's Florian Wirtz has been involved in more than his 13 top flight goals.Saka has admirers across the continent, with Liverpool one of several clubs keeping tabs on him.Arsenal will offer him a big pay rise when he sits down for talks this summer and Saka, whose current deal ends in 2024, is happy at the club and wants to stay. But it will be much harder to extend his deal if they don't qualify for the Champions League as interest grows in the youngster.Arsenal took a big step closer to that goal by making it four wins on the bounce at the weekend. And Partey reckons they are in good shape ahead of a home double header with Leicester and Liverpool. He said: "I think we are mentally strong.
We want to go game after game and this is what we are doing. I hope we continue with this form."I am happy we are moving up the table.
