Simpsons' star Yeardley Smith has joined forces with a former top cop to appeal for info on one of Scotland’s most notorious unsolved murders.

Tragic Sheila Anderson was seen by police officers just 30 minutes before her body was discovered on a beachfront track in Edinburgh in 1983.

The 27-year-old’s murder would revolutionise the sex industry in the capital and has stayed at the forefront of former deputy chief constable Tom Wood’s mind for almost 40 years.
