The UK government has confirmed that Brits will be permitted to travel to a limited number of 'green list' countries, including Portugal, from next week without the need to quarantine on return to England.
But EU travel restrictions imposed on travellers from outside the bloc may obstruct their holiday plans. EU countries have reportedly banned non-essential travel from non-EU states, with an official describing the restrictions as 'diplomatically delicate' to reverse, the Mirror reports.
