Bombshell claims from a brand new Britney Spears documentary have alleged that the singer’s father, Jamie Spears, exerted so much control of his daughter throughout her conservatorship, that he monitored her text messages, phone calls, and internet browser history.
In the documentary, The New York Times Presents: Controlling Britney Spears, a former member of Britney’s security team claimed that he was ‘once asked to put parental controls’ on Britney’s phone. ‘Britney wanted to get an iPhone … and that was a big deal.
Everybody was worried,’ said security guard Alex Vlasov. Alex claimed in the documentary, which premiered Friday on FX and Hulu, that his boss asked him if he knew anything about putting security on phones.
