ARMED Forces children who won the hearts of Britain’s Got Talent judges say singing helps them cope with the weeks their mums and dads are away.
Their choir is made up of six to 18-year-olds whose parents are serving or have served in the military. Seven-year-old Isadora, whose dad is in the RAF, said that joining the Voices of Armed Forces Children Choir had helped distract her when he is not there.
She said: “The choir is special to me because I make lots of friends and when I’m feeling sad the choir makes me feel happy. “When I am at home and Daddy is away, it feels a bit sad and lonely and a bit boring, too. "It feels really exciting when he comes home.
