British woman has been killed in Pakistan with reports that the brutal murder may have been a "crime of passion" carried out by two men who both wanted to marry her.

The victim, identified as Mayra Zulfiqar from Feltham in London, reportedly moved to the country in recent months where she was shot and strangled in her rented property.

According to documents obtained by the BBC and Daily Mail the 26-year-old had been threatened by two men who both wanted her hand in marriage.

The young professional was found dead in Lahore after attackers broke into her home in the middle of the night, reports MyLondon.It is understood that as many as four men forced their way into the property before Mayra was killed.
