Billie Eilish Pirate Baird O'Connell (born December 18, 2001) is an American singer and songwriter. Born and raised in Highland Park, Los Angeles, Eilish began singing at a young age. She gained media attention in 2016, when she uploaded the song "Ocean Eyes" on SoundCloud, subsequently released by Darkroom and Interscope Records. "Ocean Eyes" was written and produced by her brother Finneas, with whom she collaborates on music and live shows. Eilish's debut EP, Don't Smile at Me (2017), reached the top 15 in the US, UK, Canada and Australia.

Dua Lipa was the biggest winner of the night, taking home two trophies, for British Female and the most prestigious award of the night Mastercard British Album of the Year for her Number 1 album Future Nostalgia.
Harry Styles was awarded British Single for Watermelon Sugar, his second win in the category including his 2012 win as part of One Direction, while Billie Eilish became only the second artist in history to win International Female Solo Artist in consecutive years - the first was Rihanna who won back-to-back in 2011 and 2012.
