A newly-wed told her husband she wanted a divorce less than 24 hours after their wedding due to a stunt he pulled at the reception that left her in an "absolute panic".
Writing to to Slate's Dear Prudence advice column, the bride explained that she had given her partner one "hard rule" for when they tied the knot - which he completely ignored.
She had told him she didn't want her face rubbed into the wedding cake at their reception, but he went against her only request by grabbing her head and pushing her into it, according to the Mirror.
Writing to the magazine's agony aunt, she said: "I got married just before Christmas and am hoping to be divorced or annulled by the end of January.
