The son of Parkhead great Henrik, Larsson is a rising star of Russian football at Spartak Moscow and was also included in Sweden's Euro 2020 squad.
And his 44th minute goal doubled Moscow's advantage over the Foxes as Rodgers, who has denied links to the now-vacant Newcastle job, stared down a two-goal fightback in the Europa League clash.
