A 14-year-old boy has been arrested after another boy, 14, was stabbed in Wilmslow. The teenager was found with a serious stab wound on Dean Row Road just after 9.30pm last night (Thursday).
He was taken to Manchester Children's Hospital, where he remains in a stable condition, police said. His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
Police arrested a 14-year-old boy near to the scene on suspicion on section 18 assault. He is from Stockport, Cheshire Police confirmed.
He is currently in police custody where he is being quizzed by detectives. A police cordon was in place on Dean Row Road after the incident last night.
