Paisley High Street to make way for a new food hall in a nearby retail park.The plans were confirmed today as staff were informed the high street site would be closing down, with employees being relocated to a newly opened food hall within Wallneuk Retail Park.The retail giant confirmed the new shopping unit would be opening within the Renfrew retail park, and would be 30 per cent bigger than the current site in the town centre.A spokeswoman from M&S confirmed all staff would be given the option to relocate to the new premises, but would work with staff to find a solution if this was not suitable.Staff working in the store say clothing and retail staff were informed they would be transferred to nearby intu Braehead.M&S also said they would.
