A brave toddler is ''fighting hard'' against a rare form of cancer despite receiving the heartbreaking news that he ''doesn't have long left'' to live.
Over the past year, three-year-old Lloyd Cheung has been battling an intense form of cancer.The disease started out as a brain tumour but has now devastatingly spread to other parts of his body, the Liverpool Echo reports.
The youngster's family had initially received the good news that he was in remission last year have now been left in despair after the tumour spread to the front of his head and down his spine.Mother, Sarah Cheung, was informed by doctors that they had ran out of options that would be able to save her ''beautiful'' son's life and that it was ''only a matter of time'' before they would need to say goodbye.
The devastated parent now hopes to raise awareness about Lloyd's atypical teratoid rhabdoid tumour (ATRT) by sharing his inspiring journey.Back in 2021, Sarah knew something was wrong with Lloyd when he began vomiting, walking into things and was having silent seizures.
