coronavirus pandemic has lost her fight for life.Karen Henderson put her health worries aside to wed her long-term partner Alistair during a moving ceremony in the couple’s Midlothian garden last July.The 48-year-old was initially diagnosed with triple-negative breast cancer and the faulty BRCA1 gene in May 2016.The mum-of-one then developed secondary breast cancer in September 2018 but continued tirelessly raising funds to help others.She teamed up with charity founder Lisa Flemming of Make 2nds Count and recorded a hit video - Sunshine on Dalkeith - which raised more than £18,000.In May last year, she fronted a Breast Cancer now campaign calling for the ‘often forgotten’ needs of patients with incurable breast cancer to be recognised by.
