A teenage boy who whipped out a kitchen knife and stabbed a school mate in the scrotum over an ‘egging’ row has avoided going to jail.
The teenager, who cannot be named for legal reasons, approached his victim at a bus stop outside his school before launching his vicious assault on his groin area, Preston Crown Court heard.
The attack unfolded in March last year after an incident where the defendant was accused of throwing eggs at the business of one of the victim’s friends.
The victim, who was not part of the original disagreement, tried to intervene after a heated exchange of words before the assailant whipped out a knife and stabbed him in the scrotum.
