A six-year-old boy has died after being hit by a car, police said tonight. The boy suffered critical injuries and was rushed to hospital where he later died.
A 32-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving. She remains in police custody and is due to be questioned by officers tonight, reports the Manchester Evening News.
