The victim, also aged 14, is 'lucky to be alive', a family friend said, after being knifed during the incident on Thursday evening in Wilmslow.
Police were called to Dean Row Road at around 9.35pm and found the 14-year-old boy with a 'serious' stab wound. He was rushed to Manchester Children's Hospital where he reportedly required surgery.
Fortunately, the injuries were not life-threatening and he has since been discharged. Detectives with Cheshire Police arrested a 14-year-old boy from Stockport on suspicion of section 18 assault.
