Garrion Bridge by emergency services on Sunday, June 13. He was rushed to Glasgow’s Royal Hospital for Children but tragically could not be saved by medics.

River Clyde has been pictured for the first time. Aidan Rooney, from Wishaw, was pulled from the water at Garrion Bridge by emergency services on Sunday after the alarm was raised shortly after 3pm.

sadly passed away following an incident at the Garrion Bridge. Devastated loved ones have paid tribute to Aidan online and said he will be sorely missed by everyone who knew him.

Emergency services raced to the scene near Garrion Bridge at around 3.15pm on Sunday. The teenager was rushed to Glasgow's Royal Hospital for Children for treatment, however police have confirmed that he has sadly died.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
