Trafford’s electoral wards are set for a reshuffle. The area’s ward boundaries could change ahead of next year’s local elections.
Following public consultation earlier this year, new boundaries are now being proposed across the borough. READ MORE : Paedophile targeted two young girls decades apart in horrific sex attacks The process is being managed by the Local Government Boundary Commission for England (LGBCE), who now want to hear what residents and local organisations think about the proposals.
A 10-week consultation will run from today (Tuesday November 30) until February 7 2022. The LGBCE is the independent body that will ultimately decide where the new boundaries will sit.
