Boris Johnson set to announce May 17 lockdown easing on Monday

The next stage of the roadmap out of lockdown is from May 17 - with Mr Johnson stating previously that he would confirm the details one week before.

On Sunday, cabinet minister Michael Gove confirmed that an announcement is being planned for Monday that will be led by the PM with all the details.

He told the BBC’s Andrew Marr Show: “All being well, the Prime Minister will confirm tomorrow that there will be a relaxation, we’ve already indicated a proportionate relaxation on international travel, very limited at this stage
