Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson Hon FRIBA (born 19 June 1964) is a British politician, writer, and former journalist serving as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom and Leader of the Conservative Party since 2019. He was Foreign Secretary from 2016 to 2018 and Mayor of London from 2008 to 2016. Johnson was Member of Parliament for Henley from 2001 to 2008 and has been MP for Uxbridge and South Ruislip since 2015. Ideologically, Johnson identifies as a one-nation conservative.

ok.co.ukBoris Johnson's mum Charlotte Johnson Wahl has died at the age of 79. It has been reported by the Telegraph that the mother of Prime Minister Boris Johnson died "suddenly and peacefully" at a London hospital.
Mrs Johnson-Wahl was married to Boris' father Stanley from 1963 to 1979 until their divorce. Boris has previously discussed his mother at the 2019 Conservative Party conference, saying that his mother had taught him to believe in "the equal importance, the equal dignity, the equal worth of every human being on the planet." Boris also called her the "supreme authority" in his family.
