Both Bolton Wanderers and Doncaster Rovers have been charged by the FA after failing to control their players during the League One fixture on November 23rd.
Ian Evatt's side triumphed in the contest as goals from Eoin Doyle, Elias Kachunga and George Thomason sealed a comprehensive 3-0 victory.
Wanderers oozed control throughout the contest but both sets of players were guilty of losing their heads in the aftermath of a cynical Joseph Oluwu challenge, the Doncaster defender clumsily diving two-footed into the heels of the escaping Dapo Afolayan.
The tackle sparked a touchline melee between the two sets of players with Wanderers players visibly irked at the nature of Oluwu's challenge.
