Bolton home care service shut down by managers after damning watchdog report

Abafields Home Care Services Ltd, an agency providing care to the elderly, was given the lowest possible rating handed out by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), the independent health and social care watchdog in England.

It comes after a care home run by the same company — Abafields Residential Home — was also found to ‘require improvement’ by a CQC report in April.
