Bolton boxing champ Amir Khan urges people to donate to his Indian emergency appeal

On Monday (May 3), India reported 368,147 new coronavirus infections in the span of just 24 hours - taking the country’s tally to almost 20 million cases.

The nationwide death toll currently stands at 218,959. In a bid to battle the surge in cases, boxer Amir Khan, who was born in Bolton, has announced details of an emergency appeal he hopes will help ensure some of India's key support organisations can keep running.
