A huge search and rescue operation was launched at around 7.05pm on Saturday following reports of a 44-year-old getting into difficulty.
Local residents reported a heavy presence of police vehicles near Strathclyde Path in Uddingston as searchers raced to the scene.Searches continued into Sunday and a body was discovered on Monday.Robert was reported as missing on Saturday.A police spokesman said: "Police Scotland can confirm that the body of a man was recovered from the River Clyde near Uddingston, around 2pm on Monday."Family of missing man Robert Kelly, 44, who has been missing since Saturday have.
