A bin man died after downing a bottle of Jack Daniels in just five seconds, an inquest has heard. Samuel Davis, 30, consumed the 70cl bottle of the spirit while drinking at a friend's house.
He had already drunk another bottle of whisky and two beers earlier that day. Mr Davis, from Christchurch, Dorset, was immediately 'significantly intoxicated' and had to be picked up from the address by his stepfather Stephen Lillington.
On the way home he collapsed in the car's footwell. After reaching their destination, Mr Lillington decided to leave him to sleep it off for a bit before helping him into the house.
Approximately 20 minutes later, he went to check up on Mr Davis but found him unresponsive. Paramedics were called and seven ambulance
