SIR BILLY Connolly is set to release his first autobiography this year after 'coming to terms with death' during his Parkinson's fight.

The 78-year-old comedian will tell his life story in the aptly named Windswept and Interesting, due to hit bookshops in October.

Fans of the Glaswegian funny man have been told to expect to read "the truth behind his windswept and interesting life." Two Roads, an imprint of John Murray Press, will publish the memoir which they promise is: "Joyfully funny and stuffed full of hard-earned wisdom as well as countless digressions on fishing, farting and the joys of dancing naked".
