A huge inflatable 'duck' has exploded in Glasgow, leaving a trail of polystyrene balls strewn across the streets.Four days after Storm Eowyn caused significant damage in Scotland, locals in Dennistoun were startled to find what looked like 'snow' covering parts of their gardens.

On closer inspection, it turned out to be small polystyrene balls, which had come from the now-deflated Connies Big Duck Bathroom's giant inflatable duck.Known for their unique and often humorous advertising campaigns - featuring everything from men in wigs on toilets to giant Easter bunnies - the company is well-known in the East End of the city. However, despite the light-hearted intention, some locals were left furious after the large duck fell victim to the storm. One resident wrote: "This stuff is everywhere.

Hopefully they take some accountability and clear the mess."
