Britain's Got Talent winner Jon Courtenay's £250,000 prize money will help the family out of a "tough situation" following months of no work due to the coronavirus pandemic.The singer who won the 2020 season of the show has admitted that his overdraft saw his family get through the lockdown period.Jon, 47, had been a cruise ship singer before finding fame on the ITV variety competition but work soon came to a halt when the cruising industry faced restrictions due to the pandemic.

Speaking to The Sun, the champ admitted that he hadn't worked since the world went into lockdown, in March."We have no savings.
