Rio Ferdinand didn't have a clue who he was when he arrived at Manchester United 16 years ago.The duo would eventually go on to play together numerous times at the back for the Red Devils.
But when then-22-year-old Foster stepped into Carrington for his first day in 2005, Ferdinand left him slightly embarrassed on the training pitch.
Speaking on The Ben Foster Podcast, the Watford stopper discussed his arrival at United and his first session with the senior team. "I was only at the club for about two weeks before I was sent straight out on loan to Watford because the season was going to be starting in the next week or two," he told listeners.
