That is according to Belgium boss Roberto Martinez, who has given an update on the Manchester City captain ahead of the vital knockout tie.
De Bruyne was injured in a challenge from Portugal's Joao Palhinha in the last 16, picking up an ankle injury that forced his substitution.
The City midfielder was seen with a large ice pack on his ankle during the second half, and was walking relatively freely on the pitch at full time.
