The building - home to the luxury hotel Hilton Manchester Deansgate - will display a numerical countdown and love heart as the country reaches the next stage of the roadmap out of lockdown.
Indoor pubs, restaurants, cafes and bars are due to reopen on May 17, following the reopening of outdoor spaces earlier this month.
The luxury hotel wants to saltute the much-anticipated return to hospitality venues by displaying a giant countdown way up in the city's skyline.
