This reporter presents the news to the beat of his own drum. While broadcasting from home during the coronavirus pandemic, BBC weatherman Owain Wyn Evans signed off his forecast with a cheery tip for viewers to “stay safe” — then raced off-camera to a nearby drum set, where he banged out percussion for his show’s theme song as it closed the broadcast.

A video of his broadcast beats — posted to Twitter early Wednesday — topped 2.5 million views, more than 24,600 retweets and 104,600.
