BBC BREAKFAST viewers were stunned this morning after a Neighbours star swore live on air. The flagship Beeb programme was covering the news that the Australian soap is coming back - just months after the final episode aired.

Broadcaster Charlie Stayt introduced Ryan Maloney to the show who called in from Melbourne. However viewers were left stunned as Ryan, who played Toadie Rebecchi on the show, appeared to swear.

During his chat with Charlie, Ryan uttered the words "chateau sh*thole". It came as the presenter asked Ryan where he was joining the programme from.
