BBC Breakfast became awkward after a Strictly Come Dancing star was welcomed on the show. The show took cheeky turn as hosts Jon Kay and Sally Nugent welcomed cellist Sheku Kanneh-Mason to the show after he wowed Strictly crowds with his performance last weekend.
Sheku was promoting his new album and did a special intimate performance for the hosts and BBC viewers. After the performance Jon said to him: "You must have incredibly powerful and strong thighs?" Looking a little embarrassed, Sheku answered: "Oh it's not that very heavy." Things got awkward in the studio so Sally chimed in: "Oh, I bet that's a question you've never been asked before - we like to bring you the important stuff on BBC Breakfast." The professional dancers performed exceptionally well to Sheku's track. This isn't the first time BBC Breakfast has suffered an awkward on-air moment.
Earlier on today, BBC Breakfast fans were left stunned as they spotted a "cheesed off" reporter grinding his teeth after thinking the cameras had cut.
