BBC Breakfast host Naga Munchetty slammed co-star Charlie Stayt for "ignoring her" again as he left the sofa during their live broadcast.

The BBC presenter, 47, was accused of having a "diva style meltdown" by one viewer, after she called for the filming crew to find her telly partner in crime.

Naga was forced to present a section of the news show alone after Charlie went rogue. He had left BBC Breakfast's Salford Quays studio for a segment on cycling, donning a helmet and picking up a bike in the process.

Yet after the interview finished, he could be seen cycling away, surrounded by the area's stunning water. This led Naga to protest: "Mr Stayt, are you coming back in the studio?" .css-16e4f55{margin:16px 0;}.css-1czxmma{background-color:rgba(252,239,255,1);margin:16px 0;}.css-1tapza8{padding:20px 15px;}.css-1bk4jdt{padding:20px.
