CHARLIE Stayt saw red during an interview with a government minister on BBC Breakfast today after he repeatedly dodged questions about last week's mini-budget.
Appearing on the show, Chief secretary to the Treasury Chris Philp was asked whether he saw "anything wrong" with Chancellor Kwasi Kwarteng's £45billion of tax cuts after yesterday's financial turmoil.
Pressing the minister, Charlie asked: "Do you think there was anything wrong in the Chancellor's mini-budget?" Replying Mr Philp said: "I mean, look, I mean nobody's perfect and we're obviously navigating very difficult international financial situations..." But before he could finish his sentence, Charlie interjected and snapped: "I'm going to interrupt you there because that answer is not sufficient. "And my question was very clear.
